12 tracks/44:42

This trio of up and coming blues artists have come together, with session drummer Jamie Little, to form a great contemporary blues band. These girls can write, they can sing, and they can play.

The CD opens with a cover of the Rolling Stones "Bitch" with all three sharing vocals, Fish on rhythym guitar, Taylor on bass and Wilde on lead guitar. The second track features the sultry voice of Cassie Taylor, daughter of bluesman Otis Taylor, on "Satisfy My Soul" followed by Dani Wilde's soulful "Mr Loving Man". Samantha Fish is up next with the bluesy "We Aint Gonna Get Out Alive", one of the better tunes on the album.

Next is a quiet ballad, "Reason To Stay", featuring Dani Wilde on dobro and vocals.  The sixth track is "Get Back" with all three getting credit for writing, playing, and vocals, with some guitar work from producer Mike Vito. The seventh cut is "Come On Home", from Samantha Fish, a slow blues tune with Samantha on lead guitar and vocals. Another highlight is the silky voice of
Cassie Taylor on "Leaving Chicago" with Fish on rhythm and slide guitar. Fish then follows with the funky "Wait A Minute" before doing some great guitar work on Taylor's rocking "Move On", one of the many good tunes on this CD.

Dani Wilde then shines on the upbeat "Are You Ready" before all three share vocal duties on
the disc's closing track a cover of "Jet Airliner" known by most from the Steve Miller Band. All three of these gals have flourishing solo careers but have done themselves proud on "Girls With Guitars" one of the better CDS I've heard in recent months.
